Yogalates is a brilliant fusion of the physical, mindful and spiritual postures of yoga combined with the core strengthening and alignment of pilates. The flow and sequence can be adapted to any level of fitness and tailored to physical requirements, injury and emotional state.

Our head trainer is Lisa Wilson, the founder of Be Yogalates. Lisa is an experienced physiotherapist, yoga and pilates instructor. Our trainers’ core passions are mindful movement, positive mind set, and self-care. These are all considered and implemented when designing our class structures. We are here for you to learn and grow with us while developing your Be Yogalates practice and mindset skills.

I have been doing weekly Yogalates classes with Lisa for years and they are an integral part of my exercise regime. Lisa is the most fabulous teacher and she makes sure all participants do each pose correctly. She will also adapt certain moves based on any injuries someone has. Doing Yogalates regularly keeps me strong and balanced (both in mind and body). I run a lot and if I miss my Yogalates classes then I find I get injured very easily. I will never stop doing Lisa’s classes!

Lisa is an experienced teacher who not only nurtures each student but identifies individual requirements throughout her classes. By fusing both yoga and Pilates, the sessions provide a fabulous mix of strength training and deep stretching.

Yogalates is one on the most beautiful practices I have ever done. Lisa’s innate wisdom filtrates through her effortlessly, always knowing just what we each need and challenging and encouraging us to push that little extra. Lisa’s ability to ground you and listen and connect to your body is indescribable. I literally feel transported to a space of calm and peace. The energy shift is truly magical and stays with you throughout the day. I always leave class with such clarity, Lisa makes looking inwards so simple and answers just flow for me afterwards. Yogalates is the perfect class for both the mind and body. Physically it will push you to your limits and it’s truly remarkable how quickly strength is gained after just a few classes.
